Yvonne Goldsmith
Clinic Manager
Yvonne has worked at Jan de Vries Healthcare Blythswood since it opened in 2001. Yvonne is responsible for the day to day running of the clinic and will be happy to give any information regarding therapies, therapists or appointment enquiries.
Tertia Molenaar de Vries
Owner
Tertia qualified as a herbalist in 1987 and since has spent many years working alongside her father Jan de Vries. In this period she has gained a lot of Jan’s knowledge. Using Jan’s knowledge as a foundation, Tertia has further developed her work using the practice of BioResonance, using the SCIO Biofeedback.
Tertia also offers appointments to advise on health matters and will recommend the appropriate treatment or remedy/supplement.
Payal Montague
(Hons) Ost. Med., MSCC, DO, DN, Lic.Ac., MBAcC
Payal qualified from the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy in London in 2001 gaining a Bachelor of Science in Osteopathic Medicine and diplomas in Naturopathy and Osteopathy. In her continued training she has gained further qualifications in Traditional Acupuncture and Cranial Osteopathy, completed courses in Medical Acupuncture and specialises in the field of fertility, helping numerous couples conceive. Payal has worked closely with Jan de Vries for many years. Spending many years in Troon with Jan has been very rewarding and a real privilege, as he has passed on his wealth of knowledge and experience from over 50 years of practice, thus helping Payal to treat patients. Her treatments are also covered by many health insurance companies.
Joe Morton
BSc(Hons), MCSP
Joe is a qualified Physiotherapist and a full member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and member of the Health Professions Council. Experience was gained working within the NHS as well as private sectors of Physiotherapy. Recently Joe gained hands on clinical practice working with Jan de Vries. Since qualifying Joe has developed a keen professional interest in manipulation and Western Acupuncture both of which he has successfully combined with his conventional physiotherapy techniques that are aimed at treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal problems. Joe also has extensive clinical experience in managing sporting injuries. This has grown through his work with various football teams over the years, most recently with his continued work with Motherwell Football Club as an active Youth Academy Physiotherapist.
Joan Roberts
BA MLC Hom.
Joan has worked as a Registered Nurse, specializing in Ear, Nose and Throat and head and neck surgery and since 2000, as a Homeopath. Joan trained in Edinburgh and the Lake District, gaining a License to practice in Homeopathy and Holistic practice. A first Homeopathic consultation can take up to an hour. The individualised remedies are included in the consultation fee.
Anila Ahmad
MFHT
Over the years Anila has developed by learning various disciplines of clinical massage to enhance her skills as a therapist and also enabling her to utilise techniques for effective and therapeutic treatments. With the holistic approach, Anila is also trained in Nutritional advice and Stress Management. She is a Member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
